I noticed the number of travel agencies accepting Bitcoin, and other crypto’s have increased considerably over the past years. 

Whereas in 2015, I struggled to spend my BTC anywhere. Today I can book flights, hotels, and even activities on travel sites that accept bitcoin and other crypto’s. 

It’s not always easy to find these places. In addition, some companies like Expedia, even stopped accepting it when the bitcoin price crashed in 2018.

For your convenience, I created a list where you can book your perfect holiday with Bitcoin.

1. Travel By Bit

With TravelByBit.com you can travel the world and get rewarded in Bitcoin. Can you believe it? Earning BTC while you explore dream destinations. Let’s find out a bit more about that.

2. Bitcoin Travel

On Bitcoin.Travel you can book flights and accommodations while you pay with crypto. The payment will be accepted on transaction confirmation. Coins that are accepted include Bitcoin, Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

3. Cheap Air

In 2013, CheapAir.com started off as one of the first online travel websites to start accepting Bitcoin. Today they accept several currencies, including LTC, BCH, and Dash as payment options for flights and hotels. 

4. Virgin Galactic for Space Travel with Bitcoin

You might have heard about this one before. Billionaire business tycoon, Richard Branson, has promised that his space flight program Virgin Galactic will accept BTC.

My friends all know, my dream is to go into space at some point in the next decade. I even got a spaceman tattoo last year. To constantly remind me of my goal. So personally, I’m keeping a close eye on this one.

5. Air Baltic

Latvian airline airBaltic.com was also one of the early adopters for using Bitcoin as a payment method. They provide over 60 destinations situated across Europe, the Middle East, and Russia.

6. Destinia

The travel agency from Spain, Destinia.com, is a travel agency that recently started accepting Bitcoins from travelers. They implemented BitPay, which is one of the major crypto payment processors. Currently Destinia offers a wide catalog range with over 190,000 hotels accessible.

It’s a fun moment when laying in your hotel bed, knowing you booked your hotel with crypto.

7. Peach Aviation

The Japanese airline, FlyPeach.com, began accepting Bitcoin in late 2017 for all its discount flights across north Asia. Today, they still accept it for discounted flights.

This could be a good opportunity to get Siberia of your bucket list once and for all.

8. Abitsky

Abitsky.com  provides flights across mainland Europe, which you can pay within Bitcoin. 

Their slogan is “fly with Bitcoin”, which earned them a spot in this list.

9. LOT Polish Airlines

The Polish Airline, Lot.com, also takes bitcoins for your holiday purchase to over 60 destinations.

10. Xcel Trip

XcelTrip.com Is a decentralized travel ecosystem. They offer travelers to book rooms at over 800,000 hotels and find flights with over 400 airlines. Not only do they accept bitcoin, but also VERGE, LTC, BNB, ETH, and their native XcelToken.
